Richmond Oval - In the last quarter-final game of the day the Britannia Bruins would face the West Point Grey Academy Wolves. #22 Kobe McKnight would open the games scoring two points for Britannia. The Wolves got an early lift in the form of back to back “3’s” from #13 Tom Sato-O’Hearn  and #11 Harrison Hunter-Walsh. Using his speed in transition, #0 Josh Kagande got in the mix early using the same spin move on the perimeter completely losing his defender two times, granting him an uncontested layup followed by a reverse layup. The Bruins were up 11-6 early. A few plays later WPGA would use some nice ball movement to get #13 Tom Sato-O’Hearn an open bucket. #22 Kobe McKnight would knock down his second three pointer on his way to 14 first quarter points. On the ensuing play, WPGA would push the ball resulting in an “and-1” from #10 Jason Zhang. The game was a shootout, as both teams hit difficult shots and jumpers were falling. The second quarter continued to be a shootout. Towards the middle of the quarter #11 WPGA Harrison Hunter-Walsh got a floater plus the foul but it was Britannia who would stay hot. #22 Kobe McKnight would score a pull-up jumper, then #0 Josh Kagande would use a spin move in transition for a two, and then a baseline out of bounds set would free #22 Kobe McKnight for another jumper. Britannia continued surging on a 14-0 run behind a #9 Marlon Edgar Apps “3” and #0 Josh Kagande layup which pushed the lead to 54-32 with 2:25 to play in the half. #23 Charles Leeson Jr. would knock down a “3” of his own before the half ended as well. #8 Jimmy Rao of WPGA would get a baseline floater to stop the run for the Wolves, but at halftime Britannia was up 57-34 led by McKnight with 20 points and Marlon Edgar Apps who added 16.

#6 Luca Comparelli of WPGA opened the half with two deep “3’s” for the Wolves however, the Bruins kept their foot on the gas with #22 Kobe McKnight leading the charge offensively and #0 Josh Kagande pushing the ball every chance he got. With three minutes to play in the quarter, WPGA ran a nice out of bounds set freeing #11 Harrison Hunter-Walsh for an open jumper. #15 Anthony Mak would sub in and score back-to-back baskets for the Wolves giving the team some life. Britannia would have to wait nearly four minutes for their first FGs which came from beyond the arc on back-to-back possessions from #23 Charles Leeson Jr. Later in the quarter, #23 Charles Leeson Jr. would hit again for his third “3” of the quarter from straight away to make the score 88-55 with 2:05 remaining. #10 Jason Zhang would score for the Wolves in the final minute and #11 Steven Ta would add a bucket off of an offensive rebound for the Bruins.
