Congratulations to Taya Hanson who was just named to the U18 Women's National Team

Vancouver, B.C. - Congratulations to Taya Hanson, of Kelowna, who was named to the U18 Women’s National Team! Taya is one of twelve women, and the only one from BC who will represent Canada at upcoming FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship.

This past year, Taya led her Kelowna Owls team to a AAA Provincial Championship. In September, Taya will begin her Freshman season with the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship runs from August 1st to August 7th in Mexico City.
