Vancouver, British Columbia - The very first Foot Locker Power Store in Canada is now officially open at 1067 Robson Street between Burrard and Thurlow. Open just in time for the holidays, the ‘Power Store’ is an ‘elevated retail experience’ much larger than any Foot Locker store in the Lower Mainland (or across Canada).
With a heavy focus on community, the Power Store features local art in-store from Vancouver Artists Tierney Milne and Kelsey Hall. When it is safe to do so, the Power Store will also host a wide range of community experiences and events for sneakerheads. The Power Store has also reserved shelf space for local brands and exclusive Vancouver collections to showcase and sell their products.
“We knew we had the opportunity to bring an elevated customer experience to the great City of Vancouver,” Foot Locker tells Daily Hive in an interview. The American-based footwear sportswear retailer says that the “project has been a number of years in the making,” adding that it involved a number of departments and team groups across the company.
As far as having any in-demand sneakers on release, Foot Locker says to follow their Instagram and keep an eye on their app for exclusive launch reservations from Jordan, Nike and more.
