Vancouver, British Columbia - Vancouver Basketball unveils first collection of apparel and merchandise launching in January 2021.
The ‘Home Court’ collection paves the way for the Vancouver Community to create a new identity focused on a bright basketball future - the opposite of reminiscing over our relocated NBA Team. In the design process, colour and inspiration were pulled from our cities original NBA Team and brought to life with a bold, modern take on representing a city laser-focused on ‘Growing The Game’.
Home Court’ is a coming out party for those who have been working, building, practicing, and growing the game locally for two decades with no identity to call their own and has a little bit of something for everyone - players, coaches and basketball fans alike. For those old enough to remember the Grizzlies, the writing is on the wall - the Grizzlies are gone and though the NBA is poised for an expansion soon, basketball isn’t coming back anytime soon, and here is a community that they can rally too. For players and the so-called ‘next generation’, who have been shaping the hoops culture for years and years in Vancouver without a team - this collection is now the uniform, that represents all their collective efforts to create something they can call their own.
The ‘Home Court’ collection releases in January 2021 and will be available online only with world shipping options available.
