Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver's best talent has a league of their own. On July 23rd, the Vancouver Pro-Am will relaunch at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
After a three year hiatus, the Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am returns featuring Eight Teams that will play an eight game regular season with a one-day playoff for the Vancouver bragging rights. The teams are made up of Current Professionals, Division 1, USports and CCAA Athletes, as well high school standouts.
League co-founder, Doug Plumb said:
“Vancouver needs this. We have no where that the best of the best disregard ego and politics and put their game on the line and let it speak for them. We are excited for what this could do for not only the people playing in the Pro-Am but also the youth who come take a look at what it actually looks like to play at the next levels and leave inspired to work harder. No Pretenders.” -
