Richmond, B.C. - From July 13th - 15th, the Dolphin Park Classic will return to the South Arm Community Centre for its 33rd year. Founded in 1986 by Steveston High School graduates, Bira Bindra, Taj Johal, Bruce Watson, Tony Wong-Hen, Garth Robertson, this 4-on-4 outdoor basketball tournament is one of the premiere tournaments on the West Coast, with its roots firmly grounded in family, friends and basketball. Perhaps the highlight of the history of the tournament came in 2004, when NBA Player Jamal Crawford played and took home tournament MVP honours in 2004.
This year’s tournament will feature a Men’s Division, Women’s Division, 3-Point Contest and Dunk Contest all played in front of a packed crowd on the daily basis.
